The Challenge
Upgrading a treatment plant that cannot be taken offline - 85,000 people depend on it for potable water supply. All construction had to be staged around operational requirements, with tie-ins requiring precise shutdown windows of less than 6 hours.
Our Solution
Le Gardenz engaged under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) arrangement, working with the design team 4 months before contract award to optimise staging. Tie-in windows were pre-planned with the operator, and Le Gardenz pre-fabricated all pipework and components off-site to minimise in-plant construction time.
