Le Gardenz has published its inaugural Net Zero Pathway Report, setting out a structured, independently verified plan to achieve net zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2035 and full Scope 3 net zero by 2040. The report was prepared in accordance with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) framework and has been externally reviewed by WSP Australia.

Where We Are Today

Our 2025 baseline emissions inventory recorded 18,400 tCO₂e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, with a further 42,000 tCO₂e estimated across Scope 3 categories including subcontractor activity, business travel, and supply chain. Scope 1 emissions are dominated by diesel consumption in plant and fleet operations.

Key Milestones on the Pathway

  • -2027: 30% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 vs. 2025 baseline through fleet electrification and renewable energy procurement
  • -2029: All office facilities powered by 100% renewable electricity
  • -2031: Electric or hydrogen plant deployed on all eligible project sites
  • -2033: Scope 3 supplier engagement program covering 80% of procurement spend
  • -2035: Net zero Scope 1 and 2 achieved
  • -2040: Net zero Scope 3 achieved

The full report is available on our website and has been submitted to the Australian Government's Climate Active program as part of our certification application.
